Since Mothers Day I have had this song on my mind,

THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S LOVE

I wanted to post it then because when I hear it

it has always made me think of how much

I love my children.

It is a love song between two people but for

me it has always spoken of unconditional love

between a Mother and her child.

Baby girl and I, well I'll just say

we have hit some rough patches in our relationship

lately. I have accepted my part and asked for forgiveness

for what I felt I have done wrong as well as she.

You know when a child struggles and I as a parent

can't seem to get her motivated the frustration sets in.

I have felt that way for some time yet the frustration

is also against myself, I wonder where did I go wrong,

how did I not give this child the life lessons she needs to get past

what she is dealing with?

I also realize that maybe because of my frustration I have

pulled away from her.

So yesterday and today, after many textings and talks

we have put it all on the table and we hopefully know

now what each expect from the other.

We are going to start all over brand new now

that we have been able to talk about all that has happened.

This parent stuff, it never gets easy.

So these words are for you baby girl,

the words that I think of when I think of how much I love you:
