TEDI GIRL
I love my Tedi-girl!!!
She is the cutie in the yellow shirt
and I don't know what she did or said to
make aunt C choke with laughter
but whatever is was you know it was
funny because that girl is a hoot!
Tedi is my third godchild.
Her, mom, Tiffy and I were raised
more like sisters than aunt and niece.
When I was raising my two little ones
Tiff was trying hard to become a momma
and it just didn't happen and I remember being
so sad for her because she wanted a baby, to be
a mommy so bad.
Then, just when she believed that part of
her life was over, here came Tedi.
I never saw two women happier than Tiffy and Ronnie.
I was asked to be this beautiful child's godmother
and how lucky I have felt since.
One thing Tiffy has done to the best
of her ability is raising this little girl
who is soon to be a teenager.
Tedi is the sweetest, funniest girl I know.
She has the heart of gold and wears it
on her sleeve. Even when I go into
the public and people realize she is my godchild
they tell me what a treasure she is and
my heart is so full of love for this girl.
She is the most forgiving child and loves
her life. She is always seeing the good
in everyone, even those who don't always
deserve it. We all learn from children like
Tedi. I so love it when she comes and
spends time with me, we are more like friends than
old lady vs. young teen.
Her momma is a wonderful momma,
just look at the product of her hard work...

ReplyDeleteTedi IS a beautiful, beautiful young girl, no I take that back, she is a beautiful,BEAUTIFUL young Lady. I talked to her very little at Roddies party and could see and fell everything ya'll are saying and fell about her. She seemed so polite and proper for not knowing me except thru words from the family. I was very impressed.
Tiffany, you are MY first Godchild. There are two things in my life that I regreat and can never forgive myself for. One is my actions in Vietnam and the other is my lack of actions as your Parrin in your life. I'll say this about Tedi, as I told Lilly about Jesica, Tedi gets her beauty from you. Fore you also are a very beautiful woman. And the GOOD HEART she has that she wears on her sleeve did not come from God, that also came from you. You should be OH SO very proud. God does not control our destinies Tiffany,we do, God only stands in judgement at the end. God will never forgive me for Vietnam. He probaly will forgive me for being a poor Parrin to you. You can't forgive me for Vietnam because you don't even know what you would be forgiving me for. You may because of your so good good heart forgive me for being such a terrable Perrin to you. But I can never, never, EVER forgive myself for either. I can only hope that you can understand. I'm so,so,so very sorry and so very very proud of you. I could go on but I can't because I'm crying too hard. You talked about the tears rolling down your face as you wrote your response, well I think I'm going to have to buy myself a new keyboard because this one is soaking wet.I am so proud of you and what you have achieved with your daughter, Tedi. No one could have done better, not even me with my own two daughters. And that's saying a lot coming from me.

OK, GUYS, DON'T GET ME STARTED ABOUT "TEDI GIRL"! MY FIRST GRANDCHILD! I REMEMBER ALMOST 13 YEARS AGO I WAS AT MY DESK AT NOLTY THERIOT, INC. DOING MY ACCOUNTING WITH MY BACK TURNED AWAY FROM MY DOOR. ALL OF A SUDDEN I HAD THIS SHORT STICK IN MY FACE. LOOKED UP AND IT WAS TIFFANY WITH A PREGANCY(SPELL CHECK). I CAN'T EXPLAIN THE JOY I FELT IN MY HEART NOT JUST FOR ME TO BECOME A GRANNY BUT FINALLY TIFFANY TO BECOME A MOTHER. AND A MOTHER SHE IS. TEDI CAME INTO HER LIFE WHEN SHE NEEDED IT AND TODAY TEDI IS TIFFANY'S ROCK! FOR THIS I WOULD LIKE TO THANK TEDI BECAUSE WITHOUT YOU I THINK YOUR MOM'S LIFE WOULD NOT BE WHAT IT IS TODAY. I was wondering whose boobs were in my cookie!! Was I really eating a cookie??? It must have been a special occassion because I don't usually like boobs with my cookies, but these were good!!
