ANOTHER BABY!!

Well our family will be blessed with another baby to love!!!
My godchild Em and her hubby Andre'
will be parents soon.
So much has been written in the world about
babies but when my kids were young there
was a post on the church bulletin about a Mother's love.
When I read it, It made me cry because it is exactly how I felt
about being a mother and the love I felt to my babies.
Now would be a perfect time to share it with you all.

A MOTHER'S LOVE
CHILDREN, LOOK INTO THOSE EYES,
LISTEN TO THAT CLEAR VOICE.
NOTICE THE FEELING OF EVEN A SINGLE
TOUCH THAT IS BESTOWED UPON YOU
BY THAT GENTLE HAND!
MAKE MUCH OF IT WHILE YET YOU HAVE
THAT MOST PRECIOUS OF ALL
GOOD GIFTS,
A LOVING MOTHER.
READ THE UNFATHOMABLE LOVE
OF THOSE EYES.
THE KIND OF ANXIETY OF THAT TONE
AND LOOK, HOWEVER SLIGHT
YOUR PAIN.
IN AFTER LIFE YOU MAY HAVE FRIENDS,
FOND AND DEAR FRIENDS,
BUT NEVER WILL YOU HAVE AGAIN
THE INEXPRESSIBLE LOVE AND GENTLENESS
LAVISHED UPON YOU,
WHICH NONE BUT A MOTHER BESTOWS.
So, Emily you now join a long line of other mothers
and you may have believed you knew before what
true, unconditional love was,
but my dear godchild, only now
will you really know what
love is all about.
Enjoy every moment of your pregnancy and raising
this beautiful child with your loving husband
because it will be gone before you know it.
Begin a journal, write down all you are feeling.
What a wonderful gift to give your child.
I love you, Em and Andre'
AUNT NAN LIL

  1. YES M & ANDRE' REMEMBER THE FEELING YOU'LL WILL EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU LOOK INTO YOUR NEW BORN BABY'S EYES FOR THE FIRST TIME. THAT FEELING WILL BE WITH YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVES.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT BECAUSE IT DOESN'T LAST VERY LONG. BEFORE YOU KNOW IT HE OR SHE WILL BE IN SCHOOL AND THEN OUT INTO THE WORLD. IT'S THAT FAST! "ENJOY"

  3. I'm sure Decon Ron will agree with this .... Auntie Lil wrote "Begin a journal, write down all you are feeling....." It's much more interesting if you begin the journal before conception!!! Amen Decon Ronald?????

  4. Ok, so here comes Aunt C with her "Motherly Wisdom". I, too, have loved my children since the moment of conception and I am so very proud of both of the young men they have become. It has been a long hard road and I am so enjoying my time now that they are adults. Yes, I enjoyed every single minute of them as young children, playing in sports, fighting about homework, praying that they don't kill themselves while riding dirtbikes, 4 wheelers and, eventually, vehicles. Many, many times it was so so hard and when I look back at everything it takes parents to raise a child I know why God is gracious to give us children while we're young (Sorry, but I do not want to go back there....don't make me,Please!!). I thank God for their Dad, Ted, because he has taught them both to be men and to stand up to others and cause controlled confrontations when they feel the need to protect themselves, family and/or each other. My, My they fought like cats and dogs, but to see their friendship today brings so much love and joy to my heart and it reaffirms that we've done a wonderful job with our boys.

My hope and deepest wish for my sons is that they, ONE DAY SOON, find a nice, quiet PLACE OF THEIR OWN to raise their own families. I pray, always that they keep the morals and values that we learned from our parents and we have passed on to them. I pray that their women are kind and patient, VERY PATIENT, and that I also get to join the STUPID CLUB one day. Sometimes I think about what I would like to be called as a Grandmother and I really like 'MEE-MEE', but then that would put Ted as 'PEE-PEE' and I don't think he likes that too much...;-).

Thank you NeNa, again, for the day yesterday. Myself, Nannie, Mone, Becky, Ange', Lucy and Hugh went to visit the Gremillions. It was the first time that I had been to their home and it is just beautiful. How sweet little Lillian is and the three seem to be adjusting perfectly to each other.

How interesting, and exciting, to be a part of another generation of children...

    My love to you all!!!
    Aunt C

P.S. Hugh...I hope that we didn't get "banned" from each other yesterday with our behaviors...I had a great time sitting next to you. Lucy and Ange', I couldn't help to comment to Aunt Mone at how well you two seemed to get along with other...I hope that your friendship continues forever..

    Love y'all,
    Aunt Celusis

  5. All this baby talk is making me want one even more. Mike and I will be sticking to our plan of waiting three years.......maybe a little less :) Just can't help that with all the excitement!!! Mike and I will be down visiting in Nov. and plan to make some sort of trip to visit everyone. Mike still hasn't made it farther than Lake Charles to Baton Rouge and Broussard to Port Barre. We'll have to plan some kind of get together and get as much family there as possible. One big group photo would be fun too! Okay, I'm getting really excited now :) M, if you think it's a girl???? you gonna tell us your girl name (and boy name if you must) or will you keep it a secret????

Love everyone! Mike says hi and can't wait to get home. Just 10 weeks left......not even half way and I'm counting down, Breizy
