Today is Tedi's dance show-off day.
Having spoken to her momma most
every day this week, I know how much fun she
has had and true Tedi fashion,
almost every day she has won an award,
yesterday being the spirit award!!!
Today, after their performance,
a few of the girls will be chosen
to fly to Florida to perform
at the Capital One bowl.
Her performance will start today at 3:00pm
and Mom and I will be making the trek
there to cheer for her!

OH MY TEDIBEAR! CAN YOU'LL IMAGINE THIS CHILD IS GOING TO BE 13 YEARS OLD. GUYS, I DON'T WANT HER TO BE 13 EVER!!!!!!!!! SHE IS SUCH A SWEETHEART. LAST WEEK WHEN I HAD 6 OF THE 7 GRANDKIDS SPEND 2 DAYS AT MY HOUSE OF COURSE WITH SO MANY AND ALL BEING ABOUT THE SAME AGE THERE WAS BICKERING AND ARGUMENTS BUT TEDI WAS THE ONE THAT TOOK CARE OF IT. SHE WOULD TALK TO ONE AND THEN TALK TO THE OTHER AND ONCE AGAIN THEY WERE ALL SLIDING OFF THE WATER SLIDE. THANKS TEDI, HUGH, ANGE', LUCY, NENE, AND MY LITTLE OWEN FOR GIVING GRANNY SUCH GOOD MEMORIES.
ReplyDeleteI CANNOT END THIS BLOG WITHOUT MENTIONING TEDI'S MOM! TIFFANY IS SUCH A GREAT MOM AND HAS DONE A FANTASTIC JOB RAISING TEDI. SHE ALWAYS KEPT HER THUMB ON TOP OF TEDI'S HEAD AND NOW AS TEDI REACHES TEEN YEARS (OH MY GOD CRY,CRY,CRY) I FIND HER THUMB IS BEING RAISED JUST A LITTLE AT A TIME. YEA SOONER OR LATER YOU HAVE TO LET THEM GO AND HOPE FOR THE BEST. BUT THE OTHER DAY I WAS SITTING IN THEIR LIVING ROOM AND TEDI WAS A LITTLE SASSY TO HER MOM AND MAN I SAW THAT THUMB GO DOWN ON TEDI'S HEAD HARD. THEN A FEW MINUTES LATER THEY WERE PLAY FIGHTING!
GOOD JOB, TIF! ALWAYS KNOW I LOVE BOTH OF YOU AND AS LONG AS I AM ON THIS EARTH I WILL HELP YOU'LL WITH WHATEVER YOU'LL NEED.

Yes, we're so proud of Tedi and am so confident that, as being the oldest cousin, she is setting good examples for those coming up. My heart was so warmed when she saw me at Walmart and she ran up to me with arms open wide and sparkles in her eyes with an "AAAUUUNNNTTT CCCCCC"!!!!. Now, not everyone is always so genuinely happy to see me, but Tedi was. She was filled with excitement about her week at camp and when I asked her about a "Show Off Day" she told me all about it with such enthusiasm that I wouldn't miss this day for the world.

ReplyDeletevery impressive considering they are only 12 years old and just learned 10 dances in 5 days!!!!
They will be FIERCE come football season, right Tedi?
I'll put video on soon but right now I am enjoying me weekend with my cutie niece, Abby, so if ya'll don't hear from me, that is where I am,
we have lots of fun stuff planned.
Tedi was terrific! She is a natural; we are so proud of you! Lil, thank you so much for having Abby and for making it special. She had a blast!

Thanks, C! I would have gone otherwise. I know you all had fun! Guy and I watched movies, ate at LaCasa, and spent the day in Houma on Sat. It was really nice to spend that time together. We don't do it any more and it was terrific. I love him even more than when we were married (almost 15 years ago). :)
