9/2015 another birthday has come and gone. I am now 52, single and at peace. A new grand girl has been added to the two previous. We adore them all! Two great kids remain making me proud, Roddie, BB, married and raising babies with his sweet wife, Kd, Jesi, gypsy is back in college, working in the restaurant business, the finer ones in our area. She loves her Kayshara shara and we all do!

Oh Lilly....it just broke my heart to read in your comment on my blog that you are walking the same path as I. It is so sad. So many blog friends have written me sharing the stories of their own parents with dementia/Alzheimer's. One friend did email me this link that I would recommend you checking out. It's very interesting, and not only am I putting my parents on this, but my husband and I will be using it as well:

Know that you are not alone on this journey. As you can tell from the comments on my post, there are so many of us blog sisters finding our way together, taking each day God gives us - treasuring it and etching it into our souls. I find myself online constantly looking at holistic and natural ways of easing my mom's symptoms; reading my devotionals and applying them to the care of my mother, reading many books on giving care to Alzheimer's patients (Amazon has a lot of them), and just doing a lot of praying. I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers, Lilly. If you need to talk or just to unload, I'm here for you.
