Could it be that my blog could have made a mark on
channel 2 news....
I don't always check my messages that come through
on facebook but this morning, because I
am on school hours, I have time to do it.
There on August 12th I realize I have
a message from channel 2 news, Ashley
who says she has read my blog entry
GOD BLESS BP
She was on her way to Schriever to
the man who owns the sign in his yard
that says this.
She says in the message that she read my blog
and would be at his house within the hour
and would I call her to let her know if I
would be interested in being in her interview...
What?! Auntie Lil interested in an interview?
in reference to something she wrote in a blog...?!
probably a good thing I didn't get the message until
today....
It does make me proud that more than who I know
read my blog...
Hmmm, maybe one day I will be an author,
maybe one day I can be a motivational speaker...
This blog may just make these dreams come true!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it takes the news to wake you up? But when I tell you to tighten up I'm told to "get a life" .... GO FIGURE!
ReplyDeleteoh behave BFOB, I was merely pointing to the fact that you can not live your life through me.... there are days that I may not blog, you would rather me just make something up to entertain you..... however I had to entertain HOBL for two weeks and sometimes that can be a challenge if you know what I mean ;^) He is going back to work tomorrow for many many days....
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the older ones that live their lives through the younger ones? Aren't you older? Just doing a little fact checking ... and if you wish to continue on your assent to a great blog, you should do what great blogs do.... BLOG. IF you prefer mediocrity, then by all means, entertain HOBL.
ReplyDeletewell...... lets see I want to be a great blogger.... but entertaining HOBL brings me many fringe benefits, for instance, he bought me on of those fancy little electric pianos's that was a great deal from baby boy, I have made no money from blogging.... HOBL pays all my bills, the blog, gives me nonmonetary pleasure..... HOBL well he just brings me pleasure....
ReplyDeleteso I guess when HOBL is home for two weeks out of a month, I think I will continue to entertain HOBL, however he also reads the blog religiously and he doesn't like when I miss either so maybe I should incorporate the blog as a form of entertainment for HOBL.... hmmm musch to think about, thanks for getting me thinking.... smoocha
oh and by the way, BFOB, there are a couple blogs in the last few day that do not have any comments from you so who is not doing their part?!
ReplyDeleteWhoaaaaaa nelly belle.... I quoted on the last few. The ones I don't quote on are for good reason...for example.... would you want me to quote on "hope" ... uhhhh the story is cool but we don't know the outcome. You couldn't remember his name so what good was the speech on hope? I get the point "clap clap" but next time you decide to change someone's life, please remember the name of that person.... and as far as life friends.... well what more could I add? You chose the perfect person to write about and that type of story doesn't need my sarcasm just my simple appreciation of a wonderful young lady. So --- I Reiterate --- I have a routine in the morning that includes coffee, weather, and your blog. I would appreciate the three to remain constant..... unless you need more :) ?? If it's not lilbit of my world than I gotta go to my fantasy baseball which is horrendous thanks to the duds I drafted. So please, for my sake, and the HOBL's libido .... blog away.
